CALL FOR PROPOSALS
The Northwest Datatel Users' Group provides an opportunity to exchange information with users from other institutions and the staff at Datatel. Presentations are the number one thing attendees check before registering for the conference. Please help us out now by volunteering to give a presentation. Here are the track coordinators for the 2006 NWDUG summer conference.

Please consider the value you can add to our conference as a presenter. We encourage you to talk with your colleagues at your school or at other Datatel sites to co-present on a topic. Perhaps looking at some suggested topics may help your decision to submit a proposal. .
Presentations are one hour in duration and may take one of the following formats:
- Lecture/presentation: traditional format in which materials are presented with limited audience participation, perhaps followed by a question and answer period.
- Panel session: consists of a panel with multiple speakers, each offering their perspective an one or more issues, with time for questions and answers.
- Demonstration: like a lecture except that the emphasis is upon showing practical skills.
Proposals from corporations/vendors will be considered, but must include at least one speaker from an institution who can provide a user perspective on the topic being presented.
All presenters are encouraged to document their presentation (either in Word, PowerPoint or HTML format) for inclusion in the NWDUG 2006 web site. Participants in panel sessions are encouraged to provide summaries of their perspectives/positions that can also be included on the web site. Final instructions for preparing and submitting electronic materials will be sent with notification of proposal selection.
Presenters are responsible for registering in the conference and for the payment of all registration fees, and travel and lodging costs.
Please use the electronic form to either submit a presentation proposal or to suggest a topic/idea for a session.
