Duplicate Record Cleanup

Eighteen months ago, CCC identified over 1,100 students with duplicate record information created by data import and data entry. Today that number has been reduced to 400 students with duplicates. The cleanup work continues. Paul will share a query tool and the technique he has used to successfully eliminate the duplicate records from the Colleague system.


The Road to the “Bottom Line”, Reconciling Accounts Receivable to General Ledger

This sessions compares an IS approach vs. an accountants approach to come up with the bottom line of what is the true amount of receivables. Luckily we have just been able to balance this so hopefully we can answer some tough questions.

    Leading Change: How to Get Beyond the "We've Always Done It That Way" Syndrome

Best practices in Student Services will also be discussed.


    Importing Spreadsheet Budget Information into R16 GL

    The GL spreadsheet that your controller uses to develop the budget can be imported into the General Ledger of Colleague. Using the GLID set up and the GLIM process, you can save time and avoid the hassle of entering this information by hand. It takes some effort to break down the spreadsheet into segments that GLIM can work with, but it is worth it. The setup parameters must match your own personal GL Chart of Accounts structure, but examples will be provided.
